University of BristolThe University of Bristol was founded in 1876 as University College, Bristol and was the first higher education institution in England to admit women on an equal basis to men. IP Group signed its partnership with Bristol, one of the leading research universities in the UK, in 2005.

According to the outcome of RAE2008, the most recent UK-wide assessment of research quality, nearly 93% of research at the University was deemed to be of an international standard. Furthermore, Bristol was positioned in 12th place in the UK out of only 17 multi-disciplinary institutions for whom over 60% of their research was awarded the top two ratings, 4* and 3* (defined respectively as 'world-leading' and 'internationally excellent').

The academic quality of the University is reflected partly in the Nobel Prizes and Fellowships associated with the University community. The University also has a successful track record of commercialising the major scientific discoveries and innovations generated from its research.

“IP Group have provided both access and credibility to both large funds and high net worth individuals, helped in the recruitment of important senior executives and have been not only a great sounding board on strategic direction but have also been insightful and challenging in a supportive way. Finally, aside from providing us with a London base, they're a great company and fun to be with which is not to be understated.”
