GlycoForm has capabilities in two broad technologies. The first
technology capability is around synthesis of complex carbohydrates,
and the second is in the glycosylation of proteins (i.e. attaching
carbohydrates to proteins). GlycoForm has 2 critical objectives:
- the development of an advanced drug delivery system based on
the use of carbohydrates to directly target certain cell receptors;
and
- the development of a protein-glycosylation capability to
improve commercially available protein drugs or to enhance drugs
which are in early stage development
