Nanotecture is based on proprietary technology related to the manufacture and application of highly-organised, nano-porous metals and metal oxides.
Nanotecture's materials have potential applications in many different commercial areas, primarily:
- Improved supercapacitors and batteries
- Selective filtration membranes for biological materials
- Sensitive and selective gas-sensors
- Molecular filters with higher throughput for life science industry
- Coatings with increased efficiency for self-cleaning glass
- Gas-sensors with smaller size, lower power requirements and reduced cost of production
