Stratophase supplies optoelectronic components and specialises in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) for wavelength conversion and the direct writing of gratings and waveguides on planar surfaces.
Wavelength conversion enables the wavelength of existing low cost lasers to be converted to wavelengths that are currently difficult to generate or are generated by much more expensive lasers. This is particularly important in the drive to reduce costs and open new applications in, for example, the sensors and telecoms markets.
