Liz Vaughan-Adams

Liz’s career has reflected her interest in technology and innovation, having written about it as newspaper journalist and then supported tech companies with their communications strategies. At IP Group, Liz heads up the Group’s communications function and is a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, Disclosure Committee and ESG Committee.

Liz has extensive communications experience, covering crisis management, M&A, IPOs, fund raisings, media relations, internal communications, CSR and social media/digital strategies. She has particular expertise in financial PR & reporting as well as regulatory/compliance matters in financial services, physical and life sciences. Liz holds the Certificate in IR from the Investor Relations Society and her IR experience includes coordinating roadshows, liaising with brokers, advisors and analysts, and organising City events.

A former financial journalist (specialising in equities, particularly tech/telecoms), Liz has experience across national newspapers, newswires, financial magazines and broadcast. Most recently Liz was at The Independent newspaper where she covered telecoms and technology stocks and also wrote features and profiles and for the investment column. She has also written for the Financial Times, Thestreet.co.uk and AFX News (now Thomson Reuters), having started her career with Pearson plc.
