Paul Smith

Paul has a strong interest in the interface between science and business, and this has defined his career for almost 15 years. He joined IP Group in 2017, and holds board and observer seats on biotechnology and health technology companies. Paul has held roles in venture capital and private equity covering investment management, company valuation, structuring investments and divestments and fund management.
Paul holds a BSc (First class) in Biology from Royal Holloway, University of London, a MRes (Distinction) in Molecular Plant Biology and Biotechnology from Imperial College London, and is an ACA Chartered Accountant.
