IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group"), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, is pleased to announce that Parkwalk Advisors Ltd ("Parkwalk"), the Group’s EIS fund management business, has won the ‘Best EIS Fund Manager’ category at the EISA awards.

The award, presented at the House of Lords, recognised an extremely strong 2017 for Parkwalk, where it committed in excess of £75 million to hard-science, knowledge-intensive growth companies commercialising the best of British innovation from world-class universities. Remarking on the award, the judges noted Parkwalk's "good returns and good early focus exactly in line with the objectives of the EIS”.

This follows on from the 2017 awards, when Parkwalk also won the ‘Best EIS Fund Manager’ and the ‘Best EIS Investment Exit’ categories.
