MedaPhor Group plc announces that, pursuant to the resolution passed at the General Meeting held on 12 December 2018 (RNS ref: 2840K), it has changed its name to Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc (the "Company" or the "Group").  

The Board believes that the new name reflects the fact that the Group is no longer just a global leader in ultrasound training through simulation, but has expanded into the development of artificial intelligence (AI) software to guide and support doctors and sonographers in clinical ultrasound scanning.

Trading in the Group's shares under the new name will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 15 January 2019. The Company's ticker symbol will remain as "MED". The Group's website can now be found at www.intelligentultrasound.com.

Shareholdings will be unaffected by the change of name and existing share certificates should be retained as they will remain valid for all purposes. Any new share certificates issued will bear the name Intelligent Ultrasound Group plc.
